Are you a real RadioShack?

Yes — and we always have been. Sequim Electronics has been an independent RadioShack dealer since 1975. We are not a corporate RadioShack location. We are a locally owned, independently operated store. The RadioShack corporate chain went through bankruptcy, but independent dealers like us operate separately and were not affected by that.

Since July 1975 — that's 51 years in 2026. We are one of the longest-running electronics retailers on the Olympic Peninsula.

Do you ship?

No. We do not ship under any circumstances. Our online store offers Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and curbside pickup only. If you see our products listed with a shipping option somewhere else, that is not us.

Yes, through our website at sequimelectronics.com. Online orders are available for in-store or curbside pickup only. We do not ship.

Do you sell cell phones, computers, tablets, or televisions?

No. We do not sell cell phones, computers, tablets, or televisions. We carry accessories for those devices — cases, cables, chargers, screen protectors, networking equipment — but not the devices themselves.

Do you do electronics repairs?

No. We do not repair electronics of any kind. We can help you find the right product, part, or accessory, but hands-on repair is not a service we offer.

What services do you offer?

We offer in-store product consultation, watch battery and key fob battery replacement (with purchase of the battery), and USB charging port cleaning. All other service requests are outside our scope.

What kind of batteries do you carry?

We carry one of the most complete battery selections on the Olympic Peninsula — alkaline, lithium, rechargeable NiMH, coin cells, watch batteries, key fob batteries, lantern batteries, and specialty sizes. If you need a battery, we almost certainly have it. We take our selection seriously.

What's the difference between your radio departments?

We separate our radios by whether they can transmit or only receive. AM/FM radios, NOAA weather alert radios, and shortwave receivers are receive-only and are in our AM/FM Radios department. CB radios, FRS/GMRS walkie-talkies, MURS radios, and 2-meter ham radios are transmittable and are in our CB Radios & Walkie Talkies department.

Do you carry ham radio equipment?

We carry entry-level 2-meter ham radio equipment. We do not carry HF transceivers or advanced amateur radio gear. If you're just getting started with your license, we're a good first stop. For more advanced equipment, you'll want a dedicated ham radio retailer, although if you need a cable, connector, or adapter, we almost certainly have it!

What headphone brands do you carry?

We carry Shokz, AKG by Harman, JLab, Skullcandy, Edifier, Koss, LyxPro, and RadioShack-branded headphones, covering everything from bone conduction sport headphones to studio monitoring to everyday earbuds.

What electronics kits and STEM products do you carry?

We carry kits from PowerUp, CircuitMess, Kitsville, Heebie Jeebies, and E-Blox. These range from beginner science kits to Arduino-based electronics builds to robot construction sets.

Do you help customers with electronics projects or DIY builds?

Our staff can help you find the right components, parts, or kits in our store. Hands-on project assistance — building, troubleshooting your circuit, advising on your design — is outside what we provide. The components department is self-serve for customers who know what they need.

What security cameras do you carry?

We carry Amcrest security cameras for home and business use, including indoor and outdoor models. We are an authorized Amcrest dealer.

Do you carry home phones?

Yes. We carry corded and cordless phones from AT&T, Panasonic, Clarity, and RadioShack. Clarity phones include amplified models designed for customers with hearing loss. We are one of the few remaining retailers on the Olympic Peninsula carrying a full selection of landline phones and accessories.

Are you locally owned?

Yes. Sequim Electronics is owned and operated by Becky Northaven and John Braham. We are not a franchise, a chain, or a corporate location. Every decision about inventory, pricing, and service is made locally, by a family who lives and works in this community.
