Mixing animals and electronics might seem like an odd combination, but for us, it’s always been the perfect blend of our two biggest passions. At Sequim Electronics, we've always been committed to bridging the gaps in our community's technical life. For many years, that commitment has taken us from behind the counter to the heart of the Clallam County Junior Livestock Auction (CCJLA).

A Family Journey Begins

This journey began back in 2016 when our daughters, Kellan and Ashlynn, first joined 4-H. For our family, the CCJLA became more than just an event; it was a year-long experience filled with responsibility, hard work, and community spirit. We witnessed their growth and the pride they took in their animals. Being part of an organization that teaches valuable life skills has been a true pleasure.

Deepening Our Involvement

As the years went on, our family's involvement deepened. For several years, we've been honored to provide the audio system for the auction—a small but meaningful way for us to merge our two worlds. We loved seeing all the great work the kids do while ensuring everyone could hear the auctioneer's call!

This past year, Ashlynn completed her final year with the CCJLA, following in her older sister Kellan’s footsteps. While their time as participants has come to an end, our commitment to this incredible organization has not. We are so proud of the young men and women who put in countless hours raising their animals. We know firsthand the amazing lessons they learn along the way. We want to pay forward all the help and support we've received over the years to kids who are showing this year and in future years.

Supporting the CCJLA is our way of celebrating the heart of our small-town community. We proudly support the next generation of our agricultural area. It fills us with joy to continue our support and help ensure that this important tradition thrives for many years to come.
